Waterside accommodation was started by John Harrison and his wife Barbara Harrison in 2006 with the purchase of Derwent Retreat. Barb died in 2014 and John and his new wife Frankie Forsyth continue with four properties between them.
We aim to provide superior accommodation in southern Tasmania. One day maybe the world! Our properties are all self contained and we have tastefully decorated them. They have everything you need except food and a bit of that too as we leave yummie chocolates, milk, tea, coffee, a few basics as well as salt and spices
All our properties have a terrific view of our southern mountains and the water.
